Confessions of a Closet Hoarder: Something New!

Monday, September 2, 2013
Hooray for a new blog segment at The Fashion Obsession entitled, Confessions of the Closet Hoarder. So yeah, the title says it all :) This is a blog segment wherein I would talk about more of what's happening into Ellaine's world of fashion, hidden happenings inside my wardrobe, secrets about my fashion styles and such that. I will be posting a new entry related to this segment probably every after 2 weeks so here's my first confession. Since, I was too busy lately and I didn't get the chance to shot some photos of what I planned earlier, there was a sudden change of idea of what I will be posting up first. My first confession would be all about my Open Wardrobe project. Only a few people knew about this, my close friends and family.

A month ago, we moved in to a new home and I got my own room which is quite smaller than the one that I had before. It was very challenging for me to organize my stuffs and design my room as per what I want it to be. I came up with an idea to hang almost half of my clothes because I thought it would be pretty much okay if I can see all my clothes right away and just to avoid keeping them for a long time inside my cabinet. Here's a look of what my Dad did.
Up there, I put all of my Hello Kitty stuff toys and mini teddy bears as well as my portraits that my Mom printed for me. Until now, since we moved in, I'm still not yet done on this part of my room. I need to change all of my hangers to pink, just because I love pink and to make them look neat! My mom hanged my most used belts near them to give me an easy access for almost everything. I only posted once about this project because it is still underprocess.
Here's the front look my belts holder and my favorite part on my open wardrobe project. Seems like I own a PAX set from Ikea but na-ah! It was only a DIY project from my Dad :)
The left side on my open wardrobe are all blazers and jackets and other winter essentials. Right side on the upper are all of my dresses. Lower part are all my sleeveless and blouses that were arranged according to color just to keep them organized and pants!

Thanks to my Dad who did a job well done for this. These clothes are just my most used clothes that I'm using on a daily basis. Be it at work, malling, events, chill out night and much more. This is also my view everyday whenever I wake up every morning :) I feel like I'm shoppin' at my own closet!
